My research focuses on understanding the links between the microstructure of magnesium and its alloys, and its macroscopic behavior, particularly macroscopic ductility. I am a member of the collaborative PRISMS (Predictive Integrated Structural Materials Science) center at the University of Michigan. This center aims to develop open-source software that accurately predicts the behavior of computationally simulated materials, with an initial focus on magnesium.
